Tired of the hanging loose skin from your abdomen? Wondering whether you would be able to flaunt your firm belly in that cute crop top? Wishing to get a proper muscular body but the sagging skin ruins all your efforts?

All these questions and many more have just one simple little answer- Abdominoplasty. It is a cosmetic surgery in which the surgeons get rid of the excess fat lying in your abdomen. Also popularly known as tummy tuck surgery, abdominoplasty is a 1-to-5-hour operation that can help you in getting your dream tummy.

USUALLY, ABDOMINOPLASTY IS PREFERRED BY –

    • Women who have undergone 1 or more pregnancies and have lost weight through dieting and exercise yet cannot lose their sagging extra fat resting in the tummy.
    • People who used to be excessively obese, and now have lost weight by their intense workout regime but still have to go under the knife to get rid of the excess fat deposits.
    • People who have passed their young and middle life and have aged sufficiently to reach a certain phase in their life where loose skin from the abdomen becomes absolutely normal. At such an age one can go for abdominoplasty if they want to reinvent themselves.

    ABDOMINOPLASTY IS NOT FOR –

    • Women who are still looking forward to getting pregnant in their life. As another pregnancy after an abdominoplasty surgery will ruin all the progress made.
    • People who are still overweight, and are planning to lose weight in the near future should stick away from abdominoplasty as it will be a total waste after they achieve their original shape.

In case you want to go for this surgery, it would be important for you to know the cost for abdominoplasty, as plastic surgeries can take a toll upon your bank balance.

    COST FOR ABDOMINOPLASTY–

Like any cosmetic surgery, abdominoplasty is not going to be covered by your health insurance. As it is chosen by you to correct your physical deformities, unlike some other treatments or operations where the doctors recommend it to you to correct some urgent physical complications.

The price range will vary greatly. It totally depends upon the experience level of your surgeon, the geographical location of the place where you decided to get the surgery done. Places in the United States of America can account to be much more expensive than in Seoul, in South Korea, also known as the plastic surgery capital of the world.

Abdominoplasty also comes in various procedures. The technical equipment required in each procedure may vary, and so will the costs. Mostly the range is something between 5000 to 9000 US Dollars.

The cost for abdominoplasty may seem extravagant, but it is all worth it in the end of the operation is done right. There are many fatal complications that can arise from a bad surgery. And spending on a bunch of experienced health care providers will save you from all that mess.
