    The diet you take should be able to provide minerals and vitamins. It would help if you had more nutrients when pregnant; apart from your diet, supplement it with some prenatal vitamin supplements. 

    The supplements have rich sources in folic acids and prevent detects such as spina bifida and iron for oxygen supply to the baby when in the womb. Most pregnancy vitamins are packed with zinc, iodine, calcium, and vitamins. Another advice is that you consult your doctor if you have any underlying conditions such as anemia or diabetes.
